DanDrea is a dynamic blues duo formed by American vocalist and guitarist DanDann and Italian multi-instrumentalist Andrea Liarco
Their music blends the raw emotion of the blues with touches of gospel, jazz, and soul, creating performances that are both deeply personal and universally powerful.
DanDann, raised in a Jamaican-American household, brings a voice full of warmth, strength, and storytelling soul. Andrea, with a background in classical and jazz, adds rich textures with violin, harmonica, guitar, piano, percussion, and vocals, crafting layered soundscapes that make each performance unique.
Together, they deliver a fresh yet faithful take on the blues — intimate, moving, and always alive with feeling. Whether playing to listeners or dancers, DanDrea’s music resonates deeply and lingers long after the final note.
Lucia Mendoza
Lucía Mendoza brings the dancefloor to life with a deep love for the blues and a sharp instinct for rhythm.
Raised on Jazz, Blues, and Soul, her connection to music began early. But it was in 2013, when she discovered blues dancing, that everything clicked. From that moment, music became more than a passion – it became a calling.
She has been behind the decks since 2017 and completed professional DJ training in 2018. Since then, Lucía has played at blues events across Europe, from Valencia to Rome, always crafting sets that resonate with dancers on both an emotional and physical level.
Her selections focus on vintage sounds from the 30s to the 60s, always guided by a dancer’s ear and a deep feel for the room.
Andrea Liarco
Andrea Liarco is a dedicated blues DJ known for his refined musical taste and deep respect for the roots of Black American music.
Drawing from years of experience as a dancer and musician, Andrea brings a unique sensitivity to the dancefloor, one that balances rhythm, emotion, and storytelling.
His sets are rich in vintage blues, jazz, gospel, and early R&B, always crafted with care and intention. As a passionate collector, he digs deep to unearth hidden gems alongside timeless classics, creating a sound that is both authentic and irresistible for dancers.
Based in Berlin and active across the European blues scene, Andrea is known for reading the room with precision and delivering musical journeys that keep the floor alive and connected.
